Paul's eyes danced from side to side, his head was splitting, sweat was dripping down his neck and face, everything was hot and cold, everything hurt with a screaming pain, but he couldn't seem to make his mouth move to do it.Submission for Odyssey Project II chapter 5 (runner up).
Just about ran out of time on this one. Had a super busy and stressful week and couldn't even come up with an interesting concept drawing till yesterday. So it's a bit rough, but I'm just glad to have been able to get something done by the deadline.
While I was drawing and painting this, the tentacle eyestalk whatever things seemed to look less like tentacle eyestalk whatever things and more like the branches of some deranged tree. I started think about the Fountain movie and the story with the god who died and created the world when his body turned into a tree, and I started to think about the biblical tree of knowledge, and other things like that. I wonder what will happen to Paul, I wonder how this story will end, and if someone will think of something creative.
