Project: 4 environmental paintings that communicate some sort of narrative and progression. Or something.

The story is my own, about a boy king who leaves his kingdom to go on a trip to see the big wide world around him, realizes it's not all it's cracked up to be, and then tries to get back home... (in a nutshell.)

This second setting is the boy starting out on his trip. At first everything is fun and interesting and he sees all kinds of things he's never seen before.

All acrylic ink. The reason for teapot houses? Just cause I liked 'em.

I love that it wasn't super obvious at first that the buildings were teapots and saucers. Your color theory especially has improved a lot this year!

To say my color theory has improved a lot is probably the best compliment anyone could pay me right now. I realized over the summer last year just that color was my achilles heel, and I've been working hard to try and turn that around. So that's extremely good to hear. Thank you.

... it also helps that for that project, our teacher FORCED us to do color studies, something I usually skip over to save time. ^_^
